What is the Nigerian Universal Keystone Sports Awards (NUKSA)?
NUKSA is a prestigious annual celebration recognizing and honoring the outstanding achievements of Nigerian athletes and sports professionals. We celebrate excellence, inspire future generations, and unite the Nigerian sports community across the globe.
Nominations for NUKSA 2026 were open to the public and closed in June 2026. Nominators submitted detailed forms covering performance, impact, visibility, and cultural relevance. The expert panel then reviewed all submissions to create the official shortlist.
Following the close of nominations, our panel shortlisted finalists across 13 fan-voted categories. Public voting opened and was protected by a verified email system — one vote per person. Winners in fan categories were determined by a combination of public votes and expert panel decisions, ensuring both community voice and sporting merit were honoured.
The NUKSA 2026 Awards & Gala Night took place on 3rd September 2026 at the iconic Ham Polo Club, Richmond. The evening followed an exclusive daytime polo experience and culminated in a prestigious black-tie awards dinner celebrating over 27 honourees.
